Prince George Memorials & Monuments
• A WorldWeb.com Travel Guide to Memorials & Monuments in Prince George, British Columbia.
Mr. PG was constructed in 1960 as a tribute to the importance of lumber in Prince George. Back then, Mr. PG could bow and even speak a few words, and he travelled the province. Today, Mr. PG is made of fiberglass and does not move, but he still stands for forestry and he even manages to entertain visitors with his friendly smile. Mr. PG is located at the junction of Highway 97 and Highway 16.
